Frequently Asked Questions

If you cancel outside of 24 hours prior to the time your tour is scheduled to begin, you will receive a full refund. Be sure to receive confirmation of your cancellation, to ensure your refund is processed properly and timely. If you booked your tour through a third party (such as a vacation rental company), you must request cancellation through them, and may be subject to their cancellation policies instead.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your tour’s scheduled start time, including no-shows, are not entitled to a refund.

Naturally, weather and water conditions play a major role in the enjoyment of your tour. We love the water, so we will not cancel a tour in the event of rain. We take lightning very seriously however. If there is lightning in the area (within 10 miles), we will either cancel the tour or in some cases attempt to postpone the tour until it passes. High winds and rough water conditions (red flag, or in some cases yellow) can also pose a significant danger on a paddle board. If our launch point is in a high-risk area, and if there is not a suitable option to move the tour to a calmer location (from Gulf-side to Bay-side for example), we may cancel it. Safety is ALWAYS our top priority, so we reserve the right to cancel a tour if we believe the conditions will be too dangerous. If your tour is cancelled by Green Fin due to weather or water conditions, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Yes, all tour members must sign a waiver. A parent/guardian must sign for children under 18.
Green Fin provides your board, paddle, leash, and pfd.
Throughout your tour, your guide will be taking tons of photos with a GoPro. After the tour (within 48 hours), we'll upload them all to a Google Photos album, and give you the link. The only editing we do is to remove the ones that are obviously trash, and occasionally straighten a horizon. From there, the photos are yours to download/reproduce at will, share with friends/family, etc. We don't apply any watermarks to the photos, but we do ask to be allowed to pull from them for our marketing uses.
Unless you've confirmed something with us ahead of time, we only bring enough boards to our tours to support those who have paid and signed the waiver in advance. If you want to add someone to your group at the last minute, we may be able to accommodate if we still have time to grab another board. If we've already set up, odds are good that we won't be able to add another member to your group at that time.
